The parade theme for 2026 will be “Star Spangled WYO”.
*Parade entry forms must be submitted by Friday, June 26th.*
Our grand Sheridan WYO Rodeo Parade is the most marvelous hometown parade in America!
The parade route will begin on North Main at Dow Street and head south to Works Street. It will then turn right (West) on Works Street and turn right again on Brooks Street to head north. The parade will end at Brooks and Dow Streets.
Hundreds stake out their favorite viewing spot the night before, just remember to wait until the stores close before setting out your chairs.
Locals and visitors alike know that the fun begins even earlier that the 10AM Main Street Parade! Arrive downtown to enjoy the Pancake Breakfast and the Sneakers & Spurs Fun Run and then finish it all up with our grand WYO Rodeo Parade.

Friday, June 26th: Parade entires & fees due (check or cash only if applying with paper form)
Tuesday, July 7: 11 AM – 2 PM

8 – 9:30 AM: Parade participants in line-up position
10 AM: Parade begins
***Parade Rules: The WYO reserves the right to deny participation for non-compliance with our rules.
- NO candy or any other objects may be thrown, tossed, rolled or otherwise distributed from ANY parade entry. Participants may distribute items hand-to-hand while walking route alongside the moving entry.
- NO stopping along the parade route for performances!
- All children must be accompanied by an adult.
- No merchandise may be sold along the parade route.
- Horses and riders should be competent in riding in parade. Any rider or animal that may potentially injure themselves or others will be asked to leave the parade route.
- Loose livestock is not permitted.
