Flag carriers are an important part of the Sheridan WYO Rodeo. They perform horsemanship at the highest level, while carrying sponsorship flags on all four nights of the rodeo. Dr. Sarah Schreiber and Nate Boyd were recently elected by the Sheridan WYO Rodeo board of directors to fill two vacant positions on the 13-member volunteer board. Dr. Schreiber, owner of Moxey Schreiber Veterinary Hospital, grew up in Ennis Montana and attended Montana State University on a rodeo scholarship. WYO Rodeo Whisky has been on shelves across Wyoming since late June 2017. In December 2017, it made it onto shelves across Montana and Nevada. Sheridan High School graduates Quinton Brooks, Aeriana Roth and Aaron Woodward have been selected to receive the 2018 Sheridan WYO Rodeo Scholarships. Each student has been awarded $1,000 towards their post-secondary education. Roth plans to attend the University of Wyoming to study STEM-related studies, Woodward also plans to attend the University of Wyoming, but for dentistry or business.
