The First People’s Pow Wow is a WYO Rodeo Week tradition not to be missed! Confirmed for 2022!

The First People’s Pow Wow features dancers and participants from many Indian nations from throughout the Continental U.S., this one-of-a-kind event is truly unique in its pageantry and participation. We are thrilled to announce that the Pow Wow is confirmed for July 15, 2022 on the lawn at Sheridan Inn. It will begin at approximately 12 p.m., just following the Main Street Parade.

Native American Pow Wow

For many years, hundreds of Native American dancers and drum teams in full regalia have joined us in Sheridan, Wyoming during WYO Rodeo week, performing traditional ceremonial dances to celebrate and share their heritage with folks from around the world.
